Basic Chocolate Icing
Ingredients
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)
- 3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until smooth. If making icing ahead of time, cover and store at room temperature. When ready to use, warm icing in microwave at 50 percent power for 1 minute so it will be easy to spread. Makes about 1 cup.
